Panasonic HPX170 Zacuto DOF Docu Kit
Our DOF Docu kit is designed for use on a tripod, dolly or Steadicam with a DOF (depth of field) 35mm lens adapter such as the Letus35, Brevis, MovieTube, P+S Tecnik, and/or RedRock Micro. The DOF adapter allows you to use Nikon, Canon or Zeiss still lenses and achieve the same shallow DOF as 35mm motion picture film.
Zacuto was the first to design a camera package using rods behind the camera for mounting and counter balance. The mount behind the camcorder holds batteries to power the monitor and accessories and provide a counter balance to offset the weight of the camera and accessories. Our Universal Baseplate rod system allows you to mount a matte box, follow focus and monitor or harddrive. The Zamerican arm uses Zacuto Z-Release technology to quickly release the monitor or harddrive to make setup and location moves quick and easy. Attach your wireless microphone receiver, down-converters or video transmitters to the wireless plate and you are ready to shoot!
All kits are balanced, which is critical for smooth movement and less user fatigue in both tripod and handheld use. The kits are designed to be used with current and future models of cameras & camcorders.
