Zacuto's Z-focus is an extremely accurate follow focus that allows the operator or assistant to pull focus. The Z-focus can come single sided or double sided in studio 15mm or 19mm or in a lightweight configuration. The mechanism utilizes a set of gears that connect to and spin the focus ring or Zacuto zip gear on the camera lens. The white disk allows the focus puller to create distance marked for repeatable focus pulls.

The Zacuto Z-Focus (Follow Focus) includes:
-Completely gear-driven design for slip free, accurate movement
-Helicel gear adjustment screw to allow user to tighten up gear play
-Interchangeable drive gears
-Magnetic dry erase marking disk
-Standard accessory port for Zacuto, Chrosziel, and Arri follow focus whips and speed cranks
-Industry-standard 15mm lightweight rod mount
-Lightweight design
-Other drives available in Fuji .6 & Canon .5 pitches

The Z-focus comes standard with a .8 pitch; if another pitch is needed that can be specified when ordering. If you need more than one pitch, those can be ordered separately.

Zacuto's Lightweight Flippable Z-Focus is an extremely accurate follow focus for 15mm lightweight rods. The mechanism utilizes a set of gears that connect to and spin the focus ring or Zacuto zip gear on the camera lens. The white disk allows the focus puller to create distance marks for repeatable focus pulls. This Z-focus has a new flippable design so you can quickly remove the follow focus and flip it from the operator to the assistant side in seconds.

Zacuto's 6" follow focus whip is a shorter version of our already popular 16" whip. The 6" whip has the same vinyl covering and anti-bend memory as our 16" whip. It works with Chrosziel follow focuses, Zacuto's Follow Focuses (all five models), and all other follow focus units with a standard square connector.
