]]>Zgrips are Zacuto's lightweight support handgrips that work on all cameras from Varicam to HVX200 to RED ONE and every camera in between. Zgrips attach to 15mm rods with standard 60mm spacing between the rods. They are fully adjustable with arms that split/scissor for unlimited user configurations. The handgrips themselves are fully articulating. For unencumbered tripod use, the arms quick-release off by flipping a lever. The Zgrips are extremely durable and are built to handle an incredible amount of pressure and stress.

Zgrips are also available in Studio 15mm and Studio 19mm

]]>Zacuto Zamerican arms are articulating arms that are 20% lighter than our first articulating arm. They are made with chrome balls for silk movement, aluminum ends for rust reduction and stainless steel to increase strength and reduce bulk.

They are built with Z-Release, giving you built-in quick release action using Zacuto's new Z-lock technology. Accessories install and remove with the flip of a lever. No more screwing and un-screwing and no more coming loose. Zamerican arms can be extended using Zacuto male rod extensions making articulating arms any length you want them to be. Zamerican arms require a Z-Release (quick-release) mount on each end of the arm. Z-Release mounts include:ZicroMount, Z-Mount, Stand mount, (Zround Mount + Double Mount), (Zround Mount + Mini Mount), Zgrip, q-mount and 1/2 to 1/4 20" adapter.

]]>Zacuto's Z-focus is an extremely accurate follow focus that allows the operator or assistant to pull focus. The mechanism utilizes a set of gears that connect to and spin the focus ring or Zacuto zip gear on the camera lens. The white disk allows the focus puller to create distance marked for repeatable focus pulls. The Z-focus can come single sided or double sided in Studio 15mm or 19mm or in a lightweight configuration.

The Zacuto Z-Focus (Follow Focus) includes:
-Completely gear-driven design for slip free, accurate movement
-Worm gear adjustment screw to allow user to tighten gear play
-Interchangeable drive gears
-Other drives available in Fuji .6 & Canon .5 pitches
-Magnetic dry erase marking disk
-Standard accessory port for Zacuto or Chrosziel follow focus whip, speed crank, etc.
-Industry-standard 15mm lightweight rod mount
-Lightweight design

The Z-focus comes standard with a .8 pitch; if another pitch is needed that can be specified when ordering. If you need more than one pitch, those can be ordered separately.

]]>The gorilla plate adapter is used in conjunction with the gorilla plate and is needed if customers are using our Z-Finder Pro with another manufacturer’s baseplate system and matte box. The gorilla plate’s holes are off center on the bottom and when attaching it to a tripod or another baseplate it offsets the whole camera lens so if you are trying to align the matte box; it isn’t going to align. The gorilla plate adapter slides into the hole on the bottom of the gorilla plate and centers the tripod hole. It comes with the stainless steel adapter and the screw. ]]>Zacuto is transforming the form factor of DSLR cameras for video with our electronic viewfinder. The Zacuto EVF is a 3.2” high resolution monitor that is used in conjunction with all the Z-Finder models. This electronic viewfinder is compatible with all cameras with an HDMI output including the Panasonic AG-AF100, Sony FS100, Sony F3, Scarlet, Red One & Epic. This electronic viewfinder allows you to operate the DSLR camera or any camera with an HDMI port, with the correct form factor for video with the camera "in-line" to your rod system (the most stable way) and your eye in the Z-Finder offset. This is the way all film cameras and ENG video cameras were operated and we, at Zacuto, believe this should be the way DSLR cameras should be operated.
